| The 2017 Jobs Act and Tax cuts bill was a boondoggle. There were no strings attached and consequently large corporations used the majority of their tax cuts to buy back stock. Additionally we were told by Congressman Barr that this tax cut would pay for itself. That turned out to be a lie. The Permanent Corporate Tax Cut is adding 1 1/2 to 2 Trillion Dollars to our already bloated National Debt. The corporate tax cut should be mostly repealed. During President Eisenhower's Administration, we had some of the best growth and some of the highest tax rates. | |||

We very much need to dial back the number of tests that schools are required to administer today. Teachers should not be strictly test administrators. No taxes, local, state or federal should be used for other than support of public schools. Our country was built with public primary and secondary education. No public funds should be used to support any private, parochial or charter schools. | |||

Congressman Barr voted "enthusiastically" to take healthcare way from 23 million Americans (CBO analysis), eliminate the protection for Guarantee of Coverage with pre-existing conditions and take away free birth control, the very best way to eliminate abortions arising from unwanted pregnancies. | |||

| The Dreamers, estimated at between 700,000 and 2 million people were all brought to the United States by their families at a very young age. They should be given a fast track to citizenship. President Reagan signed the 1986 Amnesty Bill that conferred citizenship on millions of undocumented immigrants. That bill had teeth in it to penalize employers in the future that employed undocumented immigrants, but the National Chamber of Commerce worked to get those teeth removed. We should have a comparable bill today, but with the teeth in it. Employers are repponsible for the flood of undocumented workers. | |||

Repeal Permanent Corporate Tax cut. Tax corporations on stock buybacks: Retroactive to 2017. |
